Fatal stabbing in south London

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating after the death of a man in south London.

Police were called at 05:10hrs on Monday, 19 June to Brownhill Road, SE6 where it was reported a man was injured.

Officers attended and found a man in the garden of a residential premises suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man is not believed to live at the address.

A man, aged in his early 50s, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He is currently being treated in hospital for injuries.

Enquiries continue.
