Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Southall.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service at approximately 08:55hrs on Monday, 19 June to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian on Avenue Road in Southall.
Officers, London’s Air Ambulance and the London Fire Brigade attended.
The pedestrian, a 73-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene at 09:18hrs.
His next of kin have been informed; formal identification awaits.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged and an inquest opened in due course at West London Coroner’s Court
The driver stopped at the scene. No arrests were made.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information.
