Detectives investigating the murder of Adam Chambers in Charlton have made an arrest.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on Sunday afternoon, 18 June in south east London on suspicion of Adam’s murder. He has been taken into custody at a south London police station where he remains at this time.
The investigation by the Homicide and Major Crime Command continues.
On Tuesday, 13 June police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 17:45hrs to a man stabbed behind Phipps House, off Woolwich Road, SE7.
Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found 30-year-old Adam injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 18:27hrs. His next of kin were informed.
A post-mortem examination held on 14 June gave cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
